Good day at the mailbox. The old Wadsworth that I paid entirely too much for off that auction site, and a Nice Northfield from CK. The Wadsworth is really very clean for it's age. Kinda one of the reasons I went for it so hard.

Two more additions to my fledgling EZ Opener collection.

Joe

I spent a lot of time ogling that Wadsworth before you bought it. That is way too nice. Love the scales.

Wow! Gorgeous.

You have a new email in your inbox. :)

Thanks for the compliments. The old Wadsworth is just a dandy. Happy to add it. Can't believe what nice shape it's still in, being from the 30's. Looking for a nice Pal now as I've learned they were the precursor to Remington from what I gather.

Bonzodog - If you look back a few days and find the EZ Open Friday thread that was started you'll see a pic of a couple S & M EZ Opens I have. A single blade and a two blade. Both nice. The two blade is kinda larger than I usually like for pocket carry, but the single blade is very nice to carry. Those were a SFO for Sooner State (I think, but could be wrong) that I haven't seen listed anywhere else cause I think they're from 2007 IIRC, but I did see one on the large auction site yesterday for less than I paid.

Thanks again guys. I have a couple more on the way as well that I'll post. You people are evil, EVIL!! ;) LOL.

Joe

I, for one, am thankful that you bought it. Because you did, I can pay my electric bill this week! :D

Nice! The old and the New, but both are beautiful. I have that same Northfield in African Blackwood and love it. Very slim and just fits the hand so nicely, I love the #85EO.

Me too! I need it some days! Hoping that GEC will do another run of the #85 EO's (maybe some in acrylic)

For sure....I'm thinking arizinaranchman bought the last one, cause I can't find one anywhere. And the 2012 forum knife was an EO. One popped up for sale awhile back and I passed. Kicking myself now.

Hey SAK Guy - how about getting a modder to try and make an EO out of a Solo! Or maybe a Settler if it'd work. I think a EO Solo might be kinda cool. I would think the alox would take to relieving the area well, then perhaps send it out for HA in a decent color. Think it'd fly? Can't really foresee any big problem areas unless I'm missing something. I may have to get with Syph on this and get his thoughts. I have donor knife already.

Check Collectorknives. Mike has an 85 EO.

That might work great Joe! If you talk to Syph, please keep me in the loop. I may contact him too but I'm pretty tapped out for the next several months and hate to bring it up unless I have the cash ready.

I sure love those #85's though! I nearly got a smooth white bone EO last year but just missed it and a kind member here offered to sell me his ebony 85 EO but it was around the holidays and I chose getting my grandkids gifts for Christmas over my dream knife (single spear/ebony #85 EO). Easy choice but still...it was a once in a lifetime chance I think.

It will all work out... :)

Thanks to the OP, Joe58, my new EO arrived to day!!!!

Great Wadsworth, Joe!! I like the deep etch on the blade!!

And Sak, the little 25 EO is a winner!

Love it. Great little knife. The sheepsfoot 25 single is one of my most carried since Blaine offered to sell me one, mines not an EO though ;)
