One in .308 the other in .260. Both with S&B 5-25x56mm scopes and paint work by LTM. George from GA Precision did me well. Range reports to follow as I just got them.

We have a thrid one (all black) on order from Jared (Patriot Arms) with the sme scope. These are some of the top gunsmiths for this particular (ahem!) type of rifle. We are headed to rifles only for a course this summer with my two boys.

I really love the GA Precision rifles. If I could shoot long distances even half as well as the rifle is capable of I'd probably already have one!

Wow. They look like cartoon guns. Are they real?

Actually, I hear that place makes a great custom rifle. I handled an all-black .308 a buddy of mine had from them for a while but I didn't shoot it.

Have you shot 'em yet?

.

Wow. Those are a couple of really nice set-ups you've got there. It's got to be close to $13,000 for the pair!

The rifle looks small in the hands..How big is the person holding the weapon?

Awesome! I am very familiar with George & the gang (and the work they do). The rifles are as capable as anything else out there and GAP is a genuine pleasure to deal with. I too am a GAP whore.:D :D

Shot group for the above. Factory TAP ammo, 100yds, 5 rounds = a .142 inch spread. A hair off 1/8th MOA!

m1marty- I was poking around the Hide when they were in the process of doing the build up on that one. I'd been meaning to go back there and check it out. sure is a beauty.

some day I'll have one. left handed action and all!

you could put someone's eye out with that thang.:D

Seriously--very nice indeed.

Specs per popular request.... basically the GAP Harbinger but I don't think those used the same stock. Anyone know what other differences there are?

Reminton 700 SA, SSG Bolt handle, Badger lug, 8-40 screws, bolt stop, Bartlein 1-11 Twist M-24 contour 26" barrel, .260 REM, Manners MCS T-1 stock, LTM Crusader flectarn finish, Badger detachable mag system, Badger 30 MOA mount, Badger 34 mm rings, bipod with lock, TIS SLing. S&B Police Marksmen II 5-25 x 56mm scope.

The .308 has a 24" barrel, LTM urban flectern finish.

Earlier I posted pics of my two new GAP guns. Took the first one (.308) out today.

I followed this procedure at 100 yds. Very light breeze, maybe 80F. Nice day.

Shoot one (clean) fare amount of copper Shot off paper high
Shoot one (clean). High and left of POA but not much.
Shoot two (clean). Starting to gather together.
Shoot two (clean). Almost no copper now. Bunching up fine.

Start sighting in by dialing down and two the left.

Shot 7-10 and cleaned. For 8 and 9 dialed one click to the left. Coming over one cm each time.
At 10 I came left two and down one. POA is slightly high and to the left. One click right and changed POA to the left box.

Grouped five shots nicely.

Cleaned. Shot three more in esentially the same hole on another target. Guy shows up nearby to sight in .375 H&H Magnum with muzzle brake. Time to go home.

Pics of the two targets follow. I can't wate to shoot that .260.

Another good day.

In response to PM questions...for scale, a US dime will exactly cover those five holes.....
