The reason I like these axes is because of the paint still on them. I have not taken too much meat out of these two. They are not razor sharp, but it would not take much to make them that way. The Kelly is a real good swinger with that 32' haft. The Hytest is a beautifully balanced axe.

Nicely done, Frank! Those look like they'll make short work of anything that get's in their way. I love that big pattern Kelly. It looks like a Connecticut, but I know they're prolific in you part of the world and I'm sure they have a different name. Can you enlighten me.
 
The Kelly is six and a half inches across the face.

One one side it has: Worlds Finest

On the other side: True Temper
Made in Canada

And yes CB-R...They were prolific and very popular here and Australia.

Nice axes indeed. I call those ones Fatties - cause of the long bit - I bet those made some dandy choppers no doubt. Thsy just "look" balanced, if that makes sense.
