Looks great, john, the walnut came out really nicely as well!

Interesting story about the walnut. My ex father in law gave me a small piece of it years ago. It came from the family farm, and is from a tree that was over 80 years old. The piece was just big enough for this knife.

That's very inetersting, thanks for telling me, makes it even more special, thanks

Now, john, don't take this the wrong way but I'ma little upset how heavily you blind sided me with this one, here I am expecting just a run of the mill excellence and then my package arrives and I find myself blow away, a small voice in the back of my mind saying "more, you need more!"

I need to try and get some pictures that capture how nicely this one feels, i'm not exactly the one to achieve that but I'm going to try by god!

:)

I really liked the pattern of the Iris, and plan to make one for myself, in 1/8" steel.

The Iris really does catch the eye, very appealing design and it looks like it would be very comfortable to hold.
