These two came home yesterday. Robeson Daddy Barlow and Queen DB Barlow. The Robeson is a little beat up but what an edge after a few swipes on the Sharpmaker. I do have a question. Does the blade on the Robeson look like it has been bobbed?

Two great looking Barlows, Sir!

The Queen Burke seems to be a stunning knife and the Robeson is a real classic for me! Congratz

I am with Akadave..I love that Big Barlow-which is not to say the QDB isnt something else either!!

Nice finds! Like them both. The Daddy does look a bit worn, to answer your question. Can you show a pic of it closed looking inside? That will show the length of the blade relative to the handle.

The Queen DB is one of my favorite folders, and it sees a bit of use. However, that daddy barlow is really nice. Is that a true Robeson, or a contracted model? Looks like my Camillus no 9, except that Robeson is ten times nicer!

The bone on the big barlow is really something. The knife has seen better days. Blade as you can see was not really taken care of. It doesn't sit right between the liners but it doesn't rub. Has some side to side play and you can see the liners open up a bit when you wiggle the blade. W&T is about a 5. The blade still sharpens up real nice. I would have loved to have had this one brand new.
I wonder what stories it could tell:cool:

Charlie here is a picture of the tip resting in the handle.

I don't think this is Camillus made. This is my first Robeson.
