Two new swamp rats!!!!!!!!!

Rodent is a clear winner in my book. I personally love the 4. An extremely stout blade for one that is fairly small.

That's a silly question in this section. Rodent 4 all the way! There's better blades in the swamp!:thumbup:

Brother, do you need a reason for an R4 ??? Reasons- perfect size, excellent comfort, ergonomics, blade geometry, and need I say COST!!!
 
I have an ESEE 4 and its been a faithful user for quite a few years now, especially when I stripped the coating. Rowan does an amazing job with steel. I've never been disappointed with any ESEE or RAT product, ever. I cant say that with every maker in my list.

I dont have an R4 (I have other Swamp users in that category) but honestly its a win/win situation, you cant lose with either one.
