I have been trying to vary my collection a bit (got a truck load of G-Shocks). I also wanted to stick to the "nice looking and durable without spending a fortune" thing.
At Wally-World I found a Shock resist Timex Expedition. When holding a standard Expedition and the 200m Shock version together the difference in "beefiness" is very obvious. I suspect this Timex will survive some pretty rough activity.
The next one I found at Sears...never knew they had such a nice selection of watches. They were running a sale of 20% off if you used your Sears card...and since my card wasnt busy at the time...
I picked up two Pulsars, one I dont have a photo of yet but I got it for my soon-to-be-son-in-law. It is a blue faced chronograph model...very nice looking.
The other one I got for myself. Nice looking watch and easy to read. This is it:
They also had a very good selection of Seikos and Citizen Eco-Drive model. I resisted them at the time, but now I feel myself drawn back to Sears...must resist...
