Hey guys heard about this forum through the Aussie version ABF ,on a bit of a long winded journey to building my own knife trying to learn as much as i can before i make the big leap so i have started making my own sheaths , thought i would post my first two for you to have a look over , really getting into my leather work at the moment learning heaps and have another project on the bench already ,thanks for looking

looks great man! the wet molding looks good and I really like the finish of your edges. Stitching looks straight and even, I'd say if your blade turns out half as good as your leather, you'll be good to go.
 
So far so good! :)

I do like the combo folder/zippo case.
 
Thanks for the comments guys ,much appreciated , really enjoying the whole process from conception to planning and production , seems there is something to learn and a different or better way to do things at every point of the process , starting to appreciate what a great medium leather is aswell ,originally i wanted to make all kydex sheaths but as kydex is impossible to find in aus i thought i would start with what i could get locally i am hooked now all thoughts of kydex out the window for the moment
