Here are two old knives that I already sold.

Hand forged 440B (stailess), mirror finish.
5.25" blade, 10" overall length. Handle was made from cow bone, with wood inserts. Details in leather and stailess steel. Bolster and butt are also stailess steel. Sheath is hand stitched and worked cow leather.

Although some people do not like 440B, I like using it sometimes, as the owner doesn't have to bother keeping it in proper conditions, and properly heat treated it performs very well.

Both very interesting, innovative designs! I like everything but the "window" in the one sheath.........seems too much a loss in functionality for a small gain in "art" ..........just MHO.

Larry,

The customer wanted the knife for display so he asked me for a window to show the damascus while sheathed :)

The customer's always right!
Maybe some day I'll be able to afford a "knife for display", but for now I'll stick to my current knife-buying philosophy...."If I can't carry it I'm not going to buy it"!

The damascus blade appeals to me. I can almost feel the smoothness of its handle on my hand. :)
