After 4 weeks and 1 day from the day CRK received my two knives they called and are on the way back. WooHoo. I was figuring 6 to 8 weeks. Large Reg and Wilson Combat 25.

Tim mentioned on Facebook recently they've been able to get their times down to about 4 weeks, except for the occasional odd issues where they might need to wait for a part. Congrats on getting those two back. I'd be very excited myself.

U got me alll excited now as mine will be 4 weeks in a few days. I have been missing my regs like crazy also curious to see if they could fix what i wanted.

They came while at a soccer game. Nice surprise when I got home as I really expected these next week sometime. So here is what arrived....

Had this little guy to help me out.

The Small 21 Tanto I was able to pick up here on BF a couple months ago. One of my favorite EDCs. Kinda fitting to open my CRK package with a CRK.

Both came out as I expected - just excellent. The WC 25 looks like new except for the pocket clip which wasn't blasted as i believe that messes up the WC logo. I should've got a close-up of it, but it really isn't bad. The Regular looks and feels like new. It's from 2002 and was well carried but not used much from what I could tell. The scales were smooth, a bit too smooth for me. I didn't mind the well used look and snail trails. Now it's got a grippy texture, but no wear. It also now has a proper box, cloth, and re-issue card for authenticity. I bought it to daily carry and was doing that. Now that first scratch is gonna kill me.

Yeah the Reg still has a bit of lock stick. Gummy is a pretty good descriptor. It isn't horrible but it's there. However it's a gorgeous Large Regular with that most excellent looking "bull nosed" blade. I can deal with it.

I’m considering sending in my well-used 1999 Regular because the lock is pretty gummy and is almost to the edge of the blade tang. I’m torn on a full refurb though. I love the worn, smooth look but it is almost too smooth. I wish they’d get the replacement Regular blades going. Mine could use that. When I called about them a few weeks ago they stated they are working on it and they will be S35VN.

When I sent my 1999 large NICA in it returned with some gummy lock stick remaining too.

If you didn't mention the were at CRK for service, I'd guessed they were NIB. They do top notch work on getting a CRK back to new condition.
Outstanding pics!!!!

Note the information on the service form from CRK about lock stick on the Regular Sebenzas:
