I had a thought :eek:, while getting ready for a ride this AM, how to have fewer things to pack and move around, a piggy back sheath for the GW.

This isn't real, I just stuck the GW in the pouch, but its got me thinking about an idea for a bug out kit. The GW isn't much biger than the folder (wouldn't the GW make a great folder ? ;)) that usually sits in the pouch.

Cool! Question: Did you already get the handles of the GW that dark from use or did you oil it? It sure looks good...

A lot of use, and a little Nix wax. It's was getting darker at the palm swell and my first 2 fingers, mostly fish guts, beef blood and fat :eek:, there's even mustard in the talon hole (Kennosha burger at Breckenridge). I've been using it in the kitchen and the table almost exclusively. The blade is developing a patina from soaking up fat, starting to look like a temper line.

The csales looked kinda blotchy, so I evened it out with some wax.

this little knife screams to get used.

And for sure I am just teasing about this as I am the worst speller on the boards for sure. Today they would say I am dyslexic ..............In my day they just called me "stupid" :D
