Found a cache of digital pics from our Nepal trip, and wanted to share them with you. The first is a picture of preparations for a festival - they were building a traditional cart for a parade-like event. It was on the way back to our hotel. The builders had just started when we arrived. The cart was gone by the time we left.
The second is a rather amusing picture of one of many cows we saw seeking refuge from the flies in the street (they stand in the middle of traffic because the flies are scared off by the cars).
Neither pic has anything to do with khukuris really, but I though y'all would enjoy them. The video is roughly done - we have to clean it up before downloading from the hard drive onto tape. It'll be about a month before it's ready for distribution, but we're working hard on it. Thanks for being patient (as if your patience hasn't already been severely tested by the WWIII project
