First off does anyone have one of the YOYOs like they use to cut brush in :Luke:? I have one . It doesn,t have the bracket that supports the end of the blade . It sure snags and cuts grass , brush and small branches . I,ve used it to keep deer trails open . You can swing at brush from four feet away .

My second question is for shotgunners . (I think .) During lights out you see the room boss in his little cage whacking at what looks like shotgun slugs with a spoon . It looks like he is trying to give it a jagged/scalloped or serrated edge , Maybe so it would fragment insrde the body . Do you think that is what he was doing .

Don't remember the second, but have one of the first for sure. Mine does have the bracket on the blade. I'm sure we're talking about the same thing.

I don't actually have one of those things but we had a few in the barn at the Camp from God only knows when. I actually sharpened one of them up once to see how well it would work. I'm still swinging khukuris and that blade thingie is most likely in a landfill somewhere today, if that gives any indication of how much I liked it.

Are you guys talking about the swingblade thing? (Not SLINGBLADE, ummmhmmm..) I have a couple, and love them for clearing small brush -- it's like a manual bush hog, or whatever.

Mine has the bracket also..

Mine is set-up something like a hockey stick with a horizontal blade serrated on both edges It just takes a few minutes with a round file to touch it up . I actually don,t mind its awkward swing due to its great reach .
