Two questions; SAT Cleaning + Aegis

I posted this a few days ago over on another forum, but wasn't able to get any solid answers. Was hoping some of you fine folks can fill in some blanks.
Howdy folks,
Just another lurker here finally looking to step out of the shadows. I have two questions that I am hoping some of you SOG junkies might be able to help me with.

First up, in regards to the SAT (SOG Assisted Technology) system and the knives it comes on. I will preface this that I live on the Texas coast and often use my knives in and around the salt. Because of this, I often feel the need to completely dismantle my knives for a nice, thorough cleaning. Would owning a knife using the SAT system make me hesitate in doing this in any way? For example, do the springs require special tools to put back in place, dexterous hands, or anything like that?

BONUS! Same question, different company. How about the AXIS lock from Benchmade?

The second question is for you Aegis owners. This is the knife I really have my eye on, but I am a bit weary of these rubber inserts. Do they at all hinder your clipping or unclipping of this knife from your pocket? Also, are they securely fastened? I have had knives with similar inserts in the past, only to have then fall out randomly.

Thanks in advance!
...and yea, thanks in advance! ;)

Update! Just got word back from SOG regarding the first question...
Under no circumstances do we recommend disassembling our folding blade
knives. I have yet to meet a customer who disassembled their knife and
was able to fully reassemble it again in the correct manner.
Additionally, disassembly of your knife will void its lifetime warranty
So I think that pretty much answers that one for me.

Still looking for opinions regarding the rubber inserts.

There's a video I saw here on bladeforums that was linked to youtube, I think it was nutnfancy  He made two videos on dissassebling and reassembling a SAT knife, I think he used the SOG Trident plain edge. They all have the same innards, the SAT spring, the safety lock, the normal lock that engages. Just take it apart and watch the video once or twice. I'll edit it in when I find it.

As for the axis lock knives (from benchmade) they are quite easy to take apart and put back together. All they are is two big omega springs that are attached to the lockbar, so no worries there, they won't shoot off and disappear.

Ahh, thanks you two.

Re: John
It appears I was under the same impression that Drod was. I watched the Nutnfancy review of the Aegis and he definitely mentioned rubber inserts; however, according to that thread... they are actually FRN. Problem solved, I'm getting an Aegis. :)

Re: J
I guess I'll have to do a bit of digging on that sometime today. I try to keep current on all of Nutnfancy's knife vids and I don't believe I have seen that one, so it may have been someone else.
EDIT// Found it! The videos were from Cutlerylover. Part 1 can be found at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utRyZlpbUK4 Now, to void or not to void... that is the question. :)

That's who it was :D I get them mixed up sometimes :o I figured it was a toss up between those two. The part two should be linked to that one once it finishes
