I am new to the forum, so I apologize if ths is common knowledge. I have used the old Worker model (with the metal handle) as a utility knife for many years and have also gotten my wife completely addicted to the handy little knife. I picked one up at a gun show a few months ago, they are getting hard to find, and I had to take the display model. About the 3rd time my wife carried the knife, the screws that hold the clip on came loose. Two of them were lost, the third is very loose. My first question is, where can I buy some replacement screws? A little locktite and she'll be back in business. Second, is this a discontinued model? I hope not, I think I have gotten more use from my Workers than from any knife I have ever owned.

Also a rookie here, but you may want to look at my post a few weeks back: "51¢ for such an improvement." Search for 51 in 'subject only', should do the trick.

May help, may not.

Thanks, that is certainly an idea. I had just assumed that the local nut and bolt stores would be too "heavy" industry oriented to have such small fasteners.

Some months ago my Police was down to one screw on the clip. I figured I could send it back to the factory, but earlier emails to Spyd about other things had been ignored - plus post there and back from Oz would take too long.
I ended up buying screws of the right pitch from a local modelmakers supply store and cutting those screws to length with a very fine modelling hacksaw. Cost - 20c!!

If you don't find what you need, try contacting Charlie at sfo@spyderco.com

I was referred to him and he was able to help me with a similar problem.

just e mail angela at customer service wski@home.com i'm sure she can get you headed inthe right direction.

We have a very good (And I mean GOOD!) hardware store that has the correct pitch and length screws. In Phillips, Allen, and Torx no less.

Hunt around. You'll find them.
