Two questions....

1) has anyone used and carried the Toad model? any opinions?

2) are the Navigator and Pegasus models discontinued?

Can't help you on the Toad, and I'm not sure on the Pegasus, but I know you can still get a Navigator in a couple different varieties. At least in G-10 and Almite, plus there is/was the "Experimental" in Almite with the slotted handle.

P.S. I'd check with Lokelani at Ironstone first, or Mark at MJS Knives. Ironstone has a lot of the harder to get Spyderco models, and Mark is just great to deal with. He'll find it for you.

The Pegasus and the Navigator have been discontinued. However, they are still available. The Pegasus comes with a stainless steel handle and the Navigator come with either a G10 handle or Ironstone's version with an Almite handle. Hope this helps.
