*This is a truly rare opportunity to own two very hard to find versions of the A.G. Russell Sting which were originally introduced in 1977.*
The Maroon Ruscarta (Micarta) and Walnut handled Stings can be found fairly easily.* What makes these two extremely hard to find is the fact that they have been marked Othello, which is the maker of the knife.* However, A.G. Russell requested that they not put Othello on the blade.* Very few were marked this way and none of those that were marked were imported to the U.S.* The number of Stings that slipped through with the Othello stamp is unknown.* I purchased them from a guy in Solingen Germany.*
The Walnut scaled Sting has been in it's sheath but remains unused in near mint condition. There are no visible scratches on the blade...I just don't feel it is perfectly "mint" due to very light marks on the handle (see pics)....but trust me, nicer than most any others you'll find.......except for....
.....the maroon micarta Sting I have for sell. It too, is marked with the rare Othello stamp, but this one has NEVER been inserted in the leather sheath......and is in the ORIGINAL box.....this knife is PERFECTLY MINT....in every way....only been taken out of the box a handful of times in its entire life. The box is in amazing condition as well....the only thing that looks different than the day it was made is the clear plastic lid (yes, I still have the clear plastic lid w/ Othello sticker), which is a bit off colored.....a bit yellowish instead of clear. I have never seen another Sting in a box like this one.
Again....both of the Othello knives were originally sold/purchased only in Germany.*

$550 shipped for the Maroon Micarta
$375 for the walnut
$850 for the pair.....postal money order or bank cashiers check/paypal (+3%).
Shipping will be USPS Priority (2-3 days) with delivery confirmation and insurance to cover winning bid.
