Thought I would post a recent project that went out a couple of weeks ago.
Specs:
Knife#1: Aurora - The Liner Lock
Steel: CPM154CM
Liners: 0.60" Titanium
Handle: Bolsters - African Blackwood, Scales - Ironwood
Knife#2: Riptide - The Framelock
Steel: CPM154CM
Scales: 0.100" Titanium
Handle: Orange Osage
The Aurora handle is not one that I normally do, the client wanted something different for the scales. Although the pieces are all separate I tried to keep the grain of the wood aligned.
The Orange Osage on the Riptide was at the clients request and was the first time I worked with it. My entire shop was yellow after grinding that one! Once finished it had a kind of bamboo look to it.
