Finishing the last delayed orders (I am taking orders) so I can get to try new things and get full speed ahead on the Nessmuk project!

San Mai and Cable Knife

A customer of mine bought this knife some time ago

And wanted a "big brother" knife, with a regular 4 fingers handle, so this is the result of that order.

San mai damascus from 1010/1070 with a 5160 core.
9 3/4" overall length, almost 5" blade. 1" wide. 3/16" thickness.
Cable/resin inserts on handle. Will have a hand made leather sheath.

San Mai Damascus Utility Knife

Some months ago I had this knife for sale

And once it got sold, I got an order for one just like it, but with the bolsters slanted forward instead of backwards.

This is the ground and etched blade for that order.

San mai damascus from 1010/1070 with a 5160 core.
7 1/4" overall length, 3 3/4" from tip of the blade to bolster. 3/16" thickness. Will have micarta handles, mokume bolsters and a hand made leather sheath.

(I don't usually offer mokume bars for purchase, but I've made an exception as it was a returning customer with a pending order)

Since we're at it, here's two integral blades for some criollos knives. The bigger one is for an order, the other will wait for a handle some time, while I finish more orders. (Don't mind the superficial rust spots, it's all part of the making, once finished and properly polished and oiled they'll be perfectly OK)

San mai from 1010/1070 with a 52100 core.
The bigger has a 5 1/2" cutting edge, the other has a 4 1/2 one.

To finish, here's what my table looked like today!

I always keep knives in all stages of completion, as well as sold yet not shipped (or delivered) knives to teach people about the materials and processes involved (same as with handle materials, as you can see micarta, mokume, pins, resined rope, etc. there)
