This is a mid week post while the new shop gets up and running. The black walnut is from an old board I got from my wood working mentor. It is from a stack that was cut by his father on the old home place about 80 years ago. It then sat in one shop or another until it became a table on my back landing. I book matched the "drop" from that project and this is the first set of scales. The grain aligns perfectly across the spine of the tang and I left the worm marks in it to add to that old world feel. I have to say it is one of, if not the best, handle I have done so far. I hope ya'll like it, as you can tell this one has even more of myself in it than usual.
They are all sold but thank you for your feed back and interest
