I like the Sog most for its lightness and it`s flat grind blade that is very slim and sharp out of the box.

I had a SOG Flash II, and hated it. It felt and sounded cheap and tinny. Gave it away.

They do feel a bit cheap, but they work great. I'm a big fan of the Flash 1 & 2.

I dislike assisted knives. I owned the smaller of the flash models. Aluminum handles, black tini partial serrations...
That was back when I was an operator, and a SOG fanboy. I had two tridents, my first modern a liner lock pentagon, and a X-ray vision mini. The latter were both ATS-34.
