Well, I sent Ralph a couple of mine back for a little work on them as I hadn't stored them as well as I should and the Damascus was darker then when I bought them. He repaired, mailed them back (insured for most of what they were worth) and the 30 days came and went. Well, I am getting the bank to drag up the old checks to satisfy the post office, but you and I know these knives aren't "lost" like something on the side of the road. Someone has them somewhere. They are now stolen. If any of you see them for sale or trade I'd truly appreciate your help as I'd LOVE to assist the postal suthorities on this one.

Here are links to large pictures of the two knives in question. The value is well over 2500$

Devon Thomas damascus blade, intertwined mokume gane/damascus bolster.
Intricately intertwined Mosaic Damascus and anodized titanium with extensive filework

This really sucks! It is the second thread that I have read today about someone having a knife stolen during shipping. There is a thread about a Pirella Trans-Metal that was stolen by someone while being shipped by USPS. Someone at the post office is getting a real nice knife collection (I know it is unlikely to be the same person).

This hurts. Let's keep our eyes out for them!
