Well it has ben awhile since I have posted any knives. And it seems like these two took forever. But I have been very busy with the school and my blacksmithing. so whenever I found time I would work on my orders. with these done I can move on to the next one. I had not made a SW bowie before this and I learned a lot making these knives. And working with this collector. the big one is 16-1/2 little one is 12-1/2 OAL.

That is an absolutely FANTASTIC matched set David - easily among my very favourites of your terrific body of work. Blade shape, damascus pattern and ivory all combine beautifully here. And the feather damascus butt cap is the kind of small detail that can really make a great knife even better.

you are totally killin it Dave. I thought you were on fire before, but I can see you were just getting started!
You gonna have those knives on hand next weekend? (fingers crossed...)

Dave, outstanding work! The Damascus is very nicely done and the spacers are a great contrast. What's the material in the spacers and the handle?

Thank you all very much. Mike the spacers are stippled copper. Guards are fire etched wrought iron. Handles are very old walrus tusk. Lorien I do not know yet if they will still be here. I kind of hope not. but I am out the door to head off and race my iron wood derby car. OAL 11-3/4' width is 3-7/8' wight is 4 lb's 13.6 ounces 20 bucks to get in winner take all I will let you know how I do .

Great knives, love the feather pattern.
That car is unreal, I for one would like to hear how the race goes. You better win best of show if it ain't fast.
Congrats on all three.
