Two that will go out Monday.

Great looking knives Brad. Are you using a new style thumb stud? It was good seeing you in Austin. That abalone d/a you had blew me away.

I prefer:
1st: dropped points
2nd: or otherwise blades with a good bit of belly

I like recurves.

So I think you have a winner there.

Top one looks like Damasteel, and the bottom Thomas...

Have you tested the cutting/slicing performance and the hardness of the Thomas damascus? What do you think as a maker when it comes to performance? (they look great)

(oh, geez... forgot I added that goofy Avatar....surprised me when I looked at my post. :D )

Hi James,It was a pleasure getting to meet you last weekend and yes those are some new thumb studs I had made. They seem to work really well. The Damascus was correctley named and the Devin Thomas is at a 58-59 hardness. It seems to cut very well. The Damasteel, I feel holds a better edge though. It is made with materials comparable to ATS while the DT is like 440C and 302.The 302 cannot be hardend but it looks pretty. Thanks for the positives.

Very nice work, Brad.

Now I know all those nice things I heard about you are true.

Perhaps one day when my wallet is willing, I will call on you.

Thanks guys for the inspiring words. This is the reason I am hooked on making knives. It is a blast and I hope I never have to go back to working for others.Thank you very much!!

The show in Dallas this year will be a blast. The look on peoples face when they see the differnce a year can make.I plain to take at least 20 + knives.I will have some mini "Whip lash" in Carbon fiber and titanium.Yes I have found a bearing small enough to put in these knives as well.I cant wait.Shows are great..As far as designs we are only at the tip of the Ice burg.Look for some crazy stuff from me in the next 6 months.I will discontinue the lastest style by the end of the year.Well that is enough jabber.I hope to see you all at the show.
Take Care...
Sincerely,
Brad Duncan
