Two tone waki

Hey guys, figured I'd share, had a few pieces of wood laying about and decided it was time to put a proper handle on my waki ( I had modded the handle awhile ago and was never really happy with it. My apologies for the terrible pics, it's tough to take good ones at night ( and I have more sanding and polishing to do) but here's a few pics

Flamed redwood, redwood burl, white g10 pins with a leather spacer between the two slabs of wood

No kidding?! VERY nice job. I'm trying to alternately picture it with either just the flame or just the redwood, trying to decide which I like better. Not sure I can!

Thanks, it's tough to find a thick enough, long enough and wide enough piece to rehandle a waki in one go, and since I kinda wanted to give a two part handle a go, and I had this stuff here ( didn't need to buy anything) I figured what the heck
