The AK Bowie came in, and it's a big boy! Very beefy, no doubt it would be fantastic at batoning (due to the spine thickness), and chopping (front heavy). For a campsite knife, it would be great, of that I have no doubt; however, I'll be honest, I would rather carry my Micro Bowie, or IBBB, instead on me, just because mine feel so neutral in hand, and I like that feeling with any knife I would keep on my person while camping, fishing, etc...

The spine is very robust.

Is that a blade or what?

Love the handle, feels so good in the hand.

In all its GLORY:

I think the Dui Chirra from Thamar has just become one of my most favorite khukuris. It feels great in hand, just enought forward weight for chopping, but not too much, OMG, the handle is unbelievable, the downward curve ever so slight, actually helps the hand swing the blade, and "snap" the blade at just the appropiate time, and it is unbelievably comfortable.

Just check out that beuatiful blade, and them fullers:

Spine isn't overly too think, but more than thick enough for its usage:

The handle is a masterpiece in ergonomic use:

Check out the CHO

The Dui Chirra with it's karda and chakma

The Dui Chirra's whole package

That's it, enough pictures?
