I'm about to move tot he desert, and thins melting is a concern. So, with a desire to keep duct tape in my bag if I can without it melting all over everything:
carried in the side mounted 5x7x2" maxpedition low profile pouch of a maxpedition lunada. The left pouch int he picture is my 'bad stuff happens' pouch, the one to the far right is my papers pouch (pocket reference, notebook, pens/pencils)
contents of the pouch are to the right (safety reflective vest, paracord, lights, batteries, Stainless peanut lighter, and duck tape in a tube), another use for the tubes seen on the left in my maxpedition tube pouch of miscellany (kept int he main compartment): the personal sewing tube kit
