First up gifts from my friend Jack (Mrknife). It never ceases to amaze me the quality of the friendships we make with the wonderful members on the Porch. Jack and I have never met in person but have had many conversations by visitor message and now that he has gone gold PM. Jack is an amazing young man that is only in his twenties but is definitely an old soul. He has a heart of gold as well as a membership of gold that if I'm not mistaken was gifted him by another member here. Over the last year Jack has gifted me over 10 knives, a watch and several other things. I am proud to have him as a friend. I went to the mailbox a couple of weeks ago and found a package from him containing these knives.
1st a grail for me. I collect 6 dot (1974) Case knives and lacked a 1 arm razor Barlow to have all the 6 dot Barlow configurations that were available and here was one that is mint.
2nd a Case Ebony Back Pocket in excellent if not mint condition.
3rd a Case Swing guard in jigged bone also in excellent to mint condition.
4th a Schatt and Morgan stag #90 short run 1 of 50.
Thank you Jack

Next from my friend Bob (BigBiscuit) again I have never met Bob in person but have had many conversations by PM and telephone. Bob is one of the nicest and most generous men I have ever encountered. He is also a walking encyclopedia of traditional knife knowledge. Bob ad I are about the same age with a lot of the same interest and hit it off immediately. Unfortunately Bob has been going through a lot of health issues and even so has always got a cheerful attitude. Bob had a knife I was interested in a week or so back and I made an offer to which he responded "it is my gift to you and I don't want any argument about it." A mint Tidioute #15 two blade Boy's Knife (correction # 77 Yankee Jack) in red micarta. This was not the first time Bob gifted me a knife a while back he had also given me a WW2 era Camillus Radio Jack he had customized with cocobolo covers and a EO cut out. Thanks Bob, these two men are my friends not because of their gifts but because they are such fine human beings and I like them a lot. There are also many more that I have become good friends with here on the Porch I won't name here because I'm afraid I will miss mentioning one.
