I am posting this because I remember a few members were toying with the idea of sending in their Busse knives to get handles changed. I sent mine in on March 14 to get Magnum scales and it came back yesterday. That is 18 days, which is pretty damn close to two weeks! :D

If anyone is is thinking of getting SF handles then now is the time to do it as they are being used for the HR.

I am also posting this because of what someone did to my knife while it was getting its handle treatment. Someone spent the time and gave it an awsome satin finish, much better than my attempt at the process. It looked so shiny and new I had to take it outside (after furiously wripping through the packaging ;) ) and beat on it until I new I could use it without hesitation. If the person who did the job is reading this, thanks.

I will post some pics tomorrow.

Pics! Pics!

And I agree... the Mag handles are awesome.

Ok, here are some really low quality pics. It has been cloudy and raining most of the day and I was able to snap a few of these off before the rain started up again. The cost for the handle swap was $75 US (with return shipping) and was worth it for sure, the knife is much more comfortable to use. These pics make my hand and the knife look smaller than they actually are for some reason. The Mag handles also improve balence. I have medium sized hands (or so) and the Mag slabs make an incredible difference (I know I said this twice, but it feels like a whole new knife).

Thanks a ton for posting the pics Peter. Congrats on making a great knife even better. And way to go Busse Combat for doing a great job in a very short amount of time!!!!

Dude, you fail the reading comprehension test. Look at post #1:

WOW that looks incredible.......I have the same SFNO I am really considering sendin it back to get those handles......they look so darned comfortable.

Thanks everyone! :D

Solstice, thanks, the Edge Pro has been getting lots of use and I have been getting lots of practise!

Eddie, it is a Fossil. It is a good watch, I have used it pretty rough for about three years now and it has survived everything with only minor scratches.

barrabas74, you will not regret it! It changes the knife from great to amazing.
