top -- 21 inch 2 pound Chitlangi by Kumar. Only thing I can find wrong with this khukuri is Kumar missed about 3/16 of brass inlay on one side. Otherwide perfect. Beautifully done horn handle. Nobody does it better than Kumar. Excellent 7 inch karda and chakma. Perfect Chitlangi style scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Yours for $175 delivered to your door. No suprises or disappointments with this one.

center -- older GRS by Sher -- 17 inches 2 pounds. Handle has a chip (managed to find and save the chip so can be epoxied back in place) and blade has 2 minutes worth of rust. Very substantial karda & chakma, 1/4 inch thick. Old style scabbard. Take it home for an even $100. Uncle Bill best buy.

bottom -- little gem by Bura. 12 inch 11 ounce silver mounted Dhankuta. Excellently executed. Handled in antique spotted deer horn. Karda and chakma tiny but functional and perfectly done. Very good work by silver men on scabbard. (see closeup below) If you can't afford a standard size Kothimoda get this one for $275 delivered to your door. Bura did a couple before he went to hospital.

Call or email.

Uncle, what do you mean by "Older GRS"? Older style as in convex edge?(drool):D

i am allready broke, its 2-14 in the early hours of the morning here in ozstralia, i just looked at the wifes piano i bought her for her birthday 26-july 2002. WONDER IF SHE WOULD NOTICE IF I PUT IT ON THE TRAILER AND RACED DOWN TO THE PAWNSHOP, iam sure she would love that silver bura instead he he. oops mabee not she might start swingin with the 17 inch ww2. hi de ho where does my money go:) :)

I'm leaving and going to the market - and maybe the libray. ( gnashing of teeth ).

Anything I buy today comes out of the money for the trip to the Missoula knife show we're leaving for in an hour, so I had to resist. Otherwise that GRS would have been too much to resist.

Edit: Two horn-handled chits in two days. Now I can't gloat anymore about having the only one! :grumpy: Instead I'll be forced to share the honor with which ever lucky stiff gets this one and a one-legged ninja dancing girl. Oh, the humanity!

;)

Yes, girls and boys, the title should have read

"7-NINETEENRH-02"

But it didn't seem to bother the Great White Sharks on the forum. ( Chomp. Smacking of lips. )

Rus,
Why don't you grab that dinky 12" whatever, it's good for nothing except looking at!!:D It would make upmfor that butt ugly one you have named AUDRY or something!! hee!
jim(Saint)

I'd ordinarily grab the BGRS at least, and maybe that cute little thang too, but my car seems to be missing a part or three. I think they went out that hole in the engine block. Now aren't you ashamed at your picking on poor little me?:p "Shame, Shame, Shame!" to quote Gomer Pyle. ( Saint my tucchus! )

Oh, boy! both posted at 6:29 and Uncle's probably shut down for the night. Long wait til the morning to see which gets the prize...
