top -- Bura style M43. He's done a little modification and come up with this version. 18 inches and 23 ounces -- pretty quick. Fit, finish, hardness all HI spec or above. Partial tang. Beautiful saatisal handle. Fine karda and chakma. Usual perfect scabbard by village sarki in new leather. Take it home for a very good price of $125.

bottom -- first Chitlangi I've seen by Kumar. 21 inches and two pounds. Top flight work by a top flight kami. Perfect in every aspect as far as I can tell. Very good karda and chakma. Chitlangi style scabbard perfectly done by village sarki in new leather. This is another very good buy at $145.

Call or email to get either.

Look at the curve on that M43!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful! Reminds me of that "boomerang" khukuri...what was that one called? Just had an incredable drop/curve to it.

Beautiful! That Bura looks more like a Hanshee than an M43. Maybe a cross of the two styles? I wish I'd seen it earlier.:(

Is Kumar trying to out Sher his brother?

The Kumar Malla that I got a couple of weeks back weighs a ton.

S.

Kumar does seem to be making them heavier these days. For what reason I'm not sure. And, moving to second in command after Sanu cannot set well with Sher who may have stormed off in a fit of rage. But if I had to take one I'd take Kumar over older brother Sher. Kumar is a top producer, does very good work, and knows how to use his helpers very well.

That Bura knife is gorgeous. As much as I love the M43, I find the handle to be too skinny for my hand, making the blade more difficult to control than it needs to be. Guess I'll have to make a special order when the funds get replenished. :D

And I'm really surprised to see a Chitlangi last this long. You don't see those in 21" very often.

The Chitlangi is waiting for the right home. Let's lower the price to $125 and see if that helps it find some direction.

That M43 is gorgeous!!! I've got to save up for one of those bad boys.

My 21" Chitlangi is my favorite HI Khukuri(I only have 5, but give me time). Take my word for it, it floats through the air like a wand.:p

I dont know what GDU is but if the Chitlangi is still available I'll take it

Gotta mean either Ducks Unlimited or Owrstraylia. Speaking of ducks, has Tsimi been heard from lately?

GDU MEANS GONE DOWN UNDER TO AUSTRALIA OH MY GOSH WHAT A BEUTY, I MUST LEARN TO SIT ON MY HANDS. CORRECTION MY WALLET NEED MY HANDS FOR SWINGIN THESE KHUKRIS ABOUT WHEEEEEE CHOP , OOPS THERE GOES MY MONITOR.HE HE SORRY YOU MISSED OUT GUYS BUT IT WILL HAVE A GOOD HOME.:p ;) :)

That M43 is a beaut!! What a curve...

Hope it's possible to get one like that when I can afford another khuk. I like the looks better than the regular model.

A 2lb Chit?? Anyone else have one that heavy?? Report expected. (please) :)

I have a 25.5oz 19" Chit and there was a 27oz 21" I think in the last 3 months..but that's still not up to 2 lbs.

I'm curious to hear how it feel and handles too.

How long is your chit, Raghorn?

I like mine because it is heavy enough for work and light enough for carry.

Does anyone know of a real feel and use difference between Chitlangi's and Siripatis? (sic)

...And how do they stack up against a Gelbu Special? I have a 21" Kesar GS, and it apprears to me to be closely related to the Chitlangis in respect to shape and blade type, the Chit has 2 fullers, the GS, only one wide one.
