I know these two are well established companies, though TwoSun doesn’t have many distributors so some may not be aware of its growing popularity in budget friendly titanium knives..

I’m just curious if anybody’s seen these two side by side, and which came forth with the design first ?

Not sure if the Terzuola is a front flipper, but the contours are pretty on point.
Thoughts ?

The Twosun is a front flipper, the Fox has a thumb disk.
Other than a vague similarity in the shape of the blade they don't look much alike, let alone share the same design.

Besides the extra bit of steel to make it a front flipper as well, they’re both thumb disks of the same making. The shape of the blade and closeness of the the disk to the blade is strikingly similar no ?

TwoSun has always appeared to me to be highly derivative...at best. Early on they, or their rebrand company “CH”, copied a Michael Zieba design.

In terms of what came first, it’s got to be the Fox as Bob Terzuola came first and his design cues are very characteristic.

How do we know that CH is affiliated with TwoSun?

I ask because TwoSun doesn't sell CH in their shop on the unnamed global marketplace. A main distributor for CH knives in the United States has been Eafengrow. Eafengrow is a known rebrander. Knives carrying the Eafengrow stamp include clones and are notorious for fake steel stamps (such as 5Cr15 or 8Cr13Mov labeled as "D2".) However, the CH knives retain their brand identity and have repeatedly had their steel stamps confirmed.

As far as I knew, CH is a manufacturer. This post prompted me to do a search since it's been a while since I checked out any of their products. They now have their own website. On it, they claim to be a manufacturer based in Yangjiang and that the CH is a "monogram" for their owner, Chen Ping.

TwoSun also appears to be an original manufacturer and also seems to be based in Yangjiang. I'd be curious if anyone has more information. I've had a few TwoSun knives. They are reasonably well made and have also had their steel stamps confirmed.

Lots of folders have wharncliffe type blades, that doesn't mean they have any connection to or were derived from any other knife. The handle designs on the two knives in question are not even close in appearance. The Two Sun is a frame lock, the Fox is a liner lock, and not even the same shape. I don't see any connection at all with the Fox branded knife other than both are locking folders with a wharncliffe style blade.
