I have wanted this knife ever since the first time I lay eyes on it !
It's just got this classic look that speaks too me ! Just one thing irks me , ( not so much I would not buy the knife ) & that is the hole in the handle ! ( What the parking lot TS ? )

The knife is a forward flipper .. Butt !
A) It will forward thumb flip
B) Finger over the top flip
C) Middle finger flip
D) Thumb flip
Making this one serious fidget friendly knife . I have only had the knife for about 24 hours and I have fidgeted the knife till my fingers are sore and I still want more ! ( Stupid old fingers )

Only the hole in the handle irks me ! Yes it's different , no it does not feel terrible or anything .. Just irks me !
2nd thing is - The blade retaining screw un tightens as you mercilessly fidget the knife .
Loctite it , or as I did .. I used some Paracord in the threads to stop them coming lose .

It took me for ever to get my hands on one as I was trying to buy @ auction .. ( Got it for $54USD ) ..
Usually this knife gets bid out of my price range ( old cheapskate ) . But after several years of trying to budget one my way , I finally got one .
It's really well put together and feels like quality . How many hundred times have I flipped it now ?
Blade is nice N straight , no play , locks up tight with a very clean BB action .
We have a wind storm outside today , it's just howling ...
So I will cut rope as soon as the weather permits .

Factory edge = 100 Slice fail ...

I'm not a fan of that hole either. You could create an oval of some interesting material and glue it into the hole?

I was freezing my "^&)*&%$_(" off .......... Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !
80 grit wet stone grinder edge returns ............ wait for it ...... seven hundred and fifty !
That is simply an amazing result for 14c28n ..
The blade is thin behind the edge to be sure , which may have helped the result .
750 is a really amazingly good result .. And sort of highlights how terrible the factory edge was ..
Seriously , a hack like me can kick a factory edge to the curb and stomp on it ! Some one is not trying / or / some one is trying too hard ! ( Naaaa )
Anyways , that result makes this knife something special . The grind was a match for the factory bevel ( same angle ) and yes there was FUBAR . Mostly near the handle .
But from the results we can say that the factory edge was bellow PAR . Cos we only beat the factory edge by 650 ! ( Only ? )
What can I say ? Except I am happy to own this knife ! ( Money very well spent )
