Types of knife blades, feel free to add what's been left out.

Not even close to complete. And I have never heard of a "normal blade."

Where did that come from?!?

Given that the two knives at the top are Benchmades, probably their website.

Just did a quick poke around...not Benchmade. From some online knife retailer that doesn't seem to be a source of great info.

it's just something I saw while browsing, and thought I'd share.

but yeah, this isn't a complete list.

GIS "knife blade types" It'll give you an idea of the much, much wider world of blade shapes. If you wanna compile that list, good luck. :D

Sheepsfoot, rescue, pen, fillet, kris, tanto, reverse tanto, modified reverse tanto... etc, etc. Blade shapes are only limited by the designer's imagination.

I thought there were only 2 kinds- "long" and "short"

or maybe "sharp" and "dull"

"black" and "silver" ?

"soft" and "hard" ??

"cheap" and "expensive" ???
