Just wondering if anyone out there has ever tried to work with the steel from a tiller tine? I am in the lawn and garden industry and have a lot of scrap mower blades and tiller tines that come my way. Due to the fact that I can't seem to throw out anything steel, and that I am a fledgling knife maker, I thought that I might give it a try. I have read on some other forums that mower blades are an unknown to most and not sure as to the make up of them. There are certainly different qualities of mower blades. Nothing yet on tiller tines.
