can i loosen the pivot or tighten or????????
when it closes, it rubs against the top of the blade, and is starting to scratch

Go to Kershaw/ZT forum....See thread titled cb 350 blade rubbing on liner.............go to post #4. Step by step list of what to do to center your Tyrade.

I'm getting a g-10 Tyrade on Sat. 5/28.....can't wait!

Best place for your question would have been in Gen. knife disc.......best for most folder questions...Lots of members go there for general questions a Lot More than on this forum

The method that I usually use to center nearly any knife:

1. Loosen the pivot screw
2. Loosen all scale screws and clip screws. Sometimes the clip screws affect the centering.
3. Either keep the blade centered with your thumb or use folded paper on both sides of the blade to keep it centered.
4. Tighten the scale screws and clip screws while keeping the blade centered.
5. Tighten the pivot screw while keeping the blade centered.
6. Remove the paper if you used it!!

This has worked to center nearly every knife. However, if there is a defect like a warped blade or screw holes that are misaligned, then the only thing to do is try the best that you can barring returning it to the maker.
