Sorry for the quality, didn't have the cable for my camera at the moment and had to use my phone.

I currently have an offset on my list of stuff to acquire... How do you like it?

It's a very special knife--really not much out there quite like it. This is changing a bit with the abundance of ZT folders, but even they aren't as exotic as the Offset.

But it's so wild that there's a lot of big pros and cons to it.

First off, it's massive and heavy. This is not really EDC material unless you live in the wilderness. Also, it's very thick. Dedicate an entire pocket to it.

The pocket clip is very effective, but it's huge, decorated and chromed out. This means two things--fingerprint magnet and everyone around you will be blinded by the reflection of the sun coming off of your waist--it's going to get a lot of attention.

The knife is very secure in the hand--probably the most secure knife to hold I own.

The blade shape looks like a fantasy knife, but is surprisingly useful. You can put rope/etc in the first half of the recurve and slice right through it, the second half has a lot of belly which is nice for precision work, and the point is forward like most conventional blades, which is nice for SD purposes, should those come up.

Some other neat features of the knife is that it has a "double pumper" assisted opening design. The blade's so heavy that it actually doesn't kick that hard, but it's nice to know if one of the springs snaps, the other one will carry it through.

I really like the stud lock, but it is a little worrisome that it's held only by a single coil spring, as opposed to say an axis lock.

Get one while you still can if you want it.

This family portrait is just not complete without my beloved Blue Bump...the first of the truly great Onion collabs
