Ive been thinking about buying a tyrade but is it really that great of a knife?
The only thing keeping me from buying it is how little I hear about it. Are there any tyrade owners here? and what is you opinion on it?

and the search is disabled so I can't find much :(

thanks everyone :D

I had already read those but thanks for the reply :D I'm looking for feedback from actual owners of the tyrade and if they were happy with it in the long run :D

thanks again :)

Not sure your going see too many reviews, as there are only a few hundred Tyrade's that have hit the streets to date. A bit early for long run evaluations as well.

I've used mine for several tests cutting hemp, cardboard, carpet, and wood. I've been happy with it. Its another winner in a long line of winners for Kershaw. I sold my ZT301 and gave my ZT302 to my son after getting this folder because I like it better than both of em. Its lighter weight, I don't have to take it out of my pocket to get my keys from deep down in my pocket and about the only real draw back for me was the tip down carry which I promptly fixed to suit myself with a tip up carry low rider I made for it.

I've got several very nice Kershaws and I like the Damascus Leek a lot because, well lets just say it will always be special to me and I like my Storm II a lot but when it comes to something that works like a beater, looks like a gem and brings out the wow factor to new levels when you show it off the Tyrade is hard to beat. I also got rid of some other knives after getting this one because they got bumped out of the rotation. Overall when new out of the box I'd give the Tyrade a 9 out of 10 with 10 being the highest. If the clip were different and mounted for both positions it'd be an easy 10.

It doesn't just look good. It works good too and is quite comforable in the hand.

I am still waiting for the one I ordered in November to show up. The latest I have heard as of today is Feb. 14. :(

I just bought one today at a gun show. WOW. I saw it on the cover on Blade and fell in love with the look instantly. Did I say wow yet? Then I held it. WOW. Wait, I already said that, but I'll say it again. WOW. Feels great in the hand to the point that you don't want to put it down. Seriously. WOW. It flips open like a dream, and the way it feels in your hand.....WOW.

Just got one for my birthday on Sat.

I am very impressed overall

my last few Kershaws have been amazing (ZT301, Mini Cyclone ZDP/Ti, Tyrade)

I continue to be amazed at the materials and quality being put out at these price points

I've had one for a while, and I think it is a great, well constructed knife. My hands are a little on the small side, though, and I do find that the front end of the handle has a little too much girth for me to be really comfortable when cycling the knife. So, if you have small hands, I would recommend that you handle one before buying it.

Alternatively, if you have handled a ZT0300 and are comfortable with that, you should have no problems with the Tyrade.
