Ok, can't do a picture, but I can do a thousand words! A few weeks ago I ordered a low ride foldover clip from Steve Rice aka STR, for the JYDII. I put the clip on the titanium framelock JYD, but only carried it a few days before deciding to "safe-queen" it. I was going to put the foldover clip on my composite JYDII, but never got around to it, and then the black Tyrade landed and all thoughts of the JYD were forgotten! As I stated in another post, the only gripe I had was the clip letting more knife show above the pocket than I like. So sitting here looking at the Tyrade got me thinking I could modify the low ride clip I already had to fit the Tyrade. As it turned out it was really a simple job. Once I figured out where new holes needed to be put, I drilled them and then used my Dremel tool to trim the other holes off the plate and slim it down a little. When Steve makes this clip he leaves a nice large flat piece of titanium on the clip that the holes are located on. Another thing I did was to cut the clip down to 1.75" in length, round off the end, and then rebend the tip. I also replaced the black 3M Stair Step tape I use to cover my pocket clips with. Now I have a short little pocket clip that puts the Tyrade all the way into my pocket, in tip up form, and basically invisible to anyone not specifically looking for a knife. Gotta say, I'm pretty happy with the end results.
