I have a boomerang design that I think might make a good chopper....

14.5in blade (might take it down to 13in)
20in OL.
.275 thick
Blade Material: plastic

Timeframe: Spring

Really excited for this one. The blade is massive but manageable and the handle feels just about perfect. I took my American Parang handle, shortened it about a quarter inch and added a little more meat around the pinky area. I also put in a small forward guard to prevent slippage. I think its a winner.

Next up, prototyping and testing in steel. Stay tuned

Wow, looks great and amazing specs too!!!
Are the handles going to be full tang and are you planning to add a lanyard hole?

This Kukri looks too awesome!
I bet the balance will rule and the handle looks comfy
Thanks! I think I'm going to shorten it an inch to make it more of a knife and less of a Greek war sword. But overall design is going to stay pretty much the same. The handle feels really good on the 3d printed model.

Sounds great. Did estimate its weight yet? The fuller should really help to lighten it up.
Plus any Kukri that's choppy And stabby (like the design appears to be) is a plus for me.

Ill have to get the weight data from the CAD file but I believe with .275 stock its projected to be around 30-31 ounces without scales. Its a very similar size and weight to the Tyrant Bowie.
