Hi there,
I just thought I'd post some pics of this.

I did a lot of clean up on it and also did the paracord wrap on the sheath which, I believe, is meant to be open to let water drain out.
It's heavy and has a very substantial blade.

I'd say 1960-early 70s at latest.

"I have the Navy Mk 2 knife, WW2 vintage and a dive knife very similar to the other one. Both gave to me by my dad. He says he bought the dive knife around 1958 and the Mk 2 came from a yard sale. He and one of his buddy's were diving way back then in Florida in the springs and ocean, I remember the old 2 hose regulators they had."

In the middle of 1960 this knife was filmed in the series that is it was mass-produced. According to all information it began to be produced in 1958-1959.
