Hi... does anyone have any info on the camillus U.S.M.C. folders? I seen them at a local gun show and they look great! Anyone know the type of steel used? Thanks!

vraton,
If you are talking about the model no. 894 (which is out of production) the materials are made from 440 stainless. This knife is a one blade tanto style lockback with a kraton handle. If you are talking about the USMC camp knife, then that is made of, I believe, 420 stainless steel. Either way, you are getting high carbon, stainless steel blades. Hope this helps.

I think this is it except mine has a black thin metal handle with U.S.M.C. stamped on it. It resembles the german CAT knife in profile but with a tanto 50/50 serrated blade. Why did they drop this knfe? It is very stout and slim for a folder with a 4" blade!!!
