Here is a 15 inch, 1.25 pound BAS by Bura. It is the best BAS I've seen. Fit perfect, finish magic stone mirror, hardness 59-60 Rc and edge will take a couple of hairs off my arm. HI habaki style bolster -- first one ever on a BAS. The only thing wrong with this knife is there is a very tiny ding on the spine which looks like the knife might have been dropped somewhere along the way after manufacture. This is the thing that keeps this knife from being absolutely perfect.

Karda and chakma are fine. Chakma is Bura's distinctive style.

Scabbard is made and tooled by the sarki with no name and very nicely done. Frog is 100 year HI military style.

We will deliver this Bura BAS to your door for $80. $20 off for the ding.

Call or email if interested.

Stop posting these Bill, you're killing me (or at least you will kill my bank account).

It is strange that even though I can't afford another khuk right now, I still check the forum often to see Bill's deal of the day. Isn't it amazing the kind of mental punishment we will inflict on ourselves.

somebody save me! I don't have a Bura yet! not my kind of knife though.(too close to my WWII)

Nice looking BAS. I'm glad some else jumped before I saw it. When did you get that extra will power Brent?

extra will power? I was about to take it! The 25" kumar kobra that's on its way helped though!

Congrates Sut! Hey, I have an uncle that lives in Campbell, nice city. I grew up in nearby Los Altos.

Yahoo! I finally lucked into one of Uncle Bill's specials. I've been so close on too many occasions.
Seegarman- I don't know if you'd recognize it now. It's a tragic irony that the 'Orchard City' now hasn't any!
I love the town, but this whole valley is getting too crowded for my tastes.
Always a pleasure guys,
Sutcliffe

Well, Sut, if my trusty Nepali shipping team (who often doesn't understand the instructions I give them in English and are too embarrassed to ask for explanation) didn't ship your khukuri to Modh in Kuala Lumpur or Wrong Friend in Tokyo it should be showing up in a couple of days. Let me know. I never know what those monkeys will do.
