Here is a 10/10 little 12 inch Sirupati excellently made and marked by Kesar. The knife weighs only 8 or 9 ounces and has the rare gray horn handle as you can see. Handle is very nicely fitted with HI habaki style bolster and the handle is hatchmarked in the center. I can't find anything wrong with this khukuri.

Karda and chakma are very well done.

Scabbard is very well made and nicely tooled by the sarki with no name. Frog is the 100 year HI superfrog.

We will deliver this knife to your door today for $75.

Call or email if interested.

Nice photo Uncle Bill, you can even see some of the pattern on the scabbard.
Matthew-AKA kid gorgous, wait no...presentable, wait no...gruesome, wait no...just Matthew

Gee, must be getting old....seriously, Mei-Chan, nice khukuri you have acquired. Definite keeper.

Mmmmm...after a bit of a UBDOTD drought I see Uncle Bill is back with the goods and he's throwing cheese, as they say of those World Series flame-throwing pitchers. That is one spiffy little khukuri. Bill, does this mean you've gotten a post-Dasein shipment?

There is a story behind this knife.

At the HI convention one of the men ordered a knife like this one. I got one, sent it to him but I was not happy with the knife. There was some little something I didn't like so I reordered and sent this one as a replacement.

As most know, I am our own worst critic. The man returned the replacement saying he was perfectly happy with the first one I sent.

So, here it is and now here it goes.

Wow again. That is another truly stunning blade. Novadak you are a very lucky person - any time you get tired of that one just drop me a line. I've gotta pay more attention.

Two out of three of the 12" Sirupatis I've had felt more like 12" BAS's.

The third one looked like this: handle way slimmer than the others, blade lines that reminds me of a long-legged mini-skirted lassy in high heels, and an attitude like a rottweiler with a toothache and hemorrhoids.

Congratulations Mei-Chan. Just be careful to stay ahead of the thing, otherwise you'll be standing there wondering what it is doing in your hand and what's that red stuff dripping off it.

Don't worry, this will be my littlest khuk so I will be very nice to it and try not to let it bite me. One of my others cut through a friend's sleeve before I could stop it; she was asking, "Is this thing sharp?" at the time.

I can't wait to see this one in person! I saw the grey horn handle, the little girl in me said, "Ooh, pretty!" and I had to snatch it up...

(Hey, there's gotta be *something* good about sitting on my tuchus in front of a computer for eight hours a day!)

Thanks for the kind offer, Snuffy, but in the event of financial disaster I will most likely end up selling pints of blood and various internal organs on the black market (they give you two lungs for a reason, right?) before I start pawning my blades...

Wait til you get it and hold it, Mei-Chan.

Then you'll realize it isn't after your blood, it just wants to protect you. Unfortunately, it moves quicker than my mind does.
