Here is another excellently crafted 20 inch Chiruwa Sirupati made and marked by Sanu. This khukuri is made for serious use, 1/2 inch thick and 2.25 pounds.
The fit is very good, typical Sanu quality, and the finish is magic stone mirror as you can see by the reflections in the blade. Sanu has the edge hardened up to about 58 or 59 in the chopping area, softer toward tip and bolster as it should be. The khukuri is very sharp but will not quite take the hairs off (what I have left of them) my arm.
The karda and chakma are very good and are 6.25 inches long.
Scabbard is made and tooled (daphne motif) by the sarki with no name. Not quite up to his usual standard but still quite a good scabbard. Frog is 100 year HI superfrog.
