Here is a 10/10 effort by Durba, an 18 inch 2.25 pound Ang Khola. Everything about this rig is about as perfect as you can get except the scabbard is too tight. The fix is to rout around inside the scabbard with a tool -- glue some heavy grit sandpaper on a thin stick and spend 15 minutes to open it up a little. Or, you can use the water soak and stretch method. The scabbard is too good to discard but if you want to step up a notch in the scabbard department you can always send the rig to Terry Sisco for a custom made scabbard and he'll probably make you one for less than what you'll be saving on this rig.

You haven't saved anybody - you just scarfed up another Durba. Shame!!! (on me - I was taking another @X%$** nap). Now my HIKV is beginning to stir again. RESEARCH - BAH!!

Fine, keep him in the cave, just pull the power when an UBDOTD comes up on the screen. And don't restore power til it's sold to someone else! And even if it's a Bura or a Sanu or a Kami w/No Name tell Jim it was a Durba. See what jim looks like after a week of that!!!
 
And Jimmy, just to add more gasoline to the fire, I received a Durba 15 inch silver mounted khukuri that has a carved Nepali Oak handle that is excellent. Based on this and other Durba examples, I'd have to say that he is one of the top BirGhorka kamis, if not the best one.

I'll try to post a scan of this lovely knife later when I get a chance...

Now, you know why I'm so much into Blues music!You all are "not" getting to me by recounting "all " the Durba's you have!(how come when I make this statement,THAT NDN,Rus,Koz & Blues laugh & say "WE" got to him)?I will "just" have to sponser a new Kami! I can't understand "why" I didn't get the other UBDOTD too?? After all ,I tried to do what Koz & Blues do "I CHEATED"!! Uncle don't the HI cantina written rules(I have a copy) state the Reseacher gets first choice!How in the **** did "ALL" those Durba's get by me?? crap!!(back to the cave & there ain't any screwed up Bats in there,Rus)!

Observing from a safe (?) vantage point, a Wildlife Officer looks at THE CAVE from which scores of mutated/altered bats have been observed fleeing. Turning to his partner, he gravely advises: "This is the place, he is supposed to be a Researcher of some sort...I have no idea why he is doing that to all of those bats.
