Take a look at the Sirupati in the UBDOTD 9-19 thread. If you do this you will see what this 18 inch Sirupati looks like. It is so similar there is no use to put up another picture that looks exactly the same. But there are some differences and they are these:
1) this khukuri was made by a new kami who has not yet been assigned a mark so the blade has HI logo but no kami mark.
2) the fit is about two percent less perfect than Kumar's rendition
3) this khukuri weighs 3 or 4 ounces more than Kumar's
4) the scabbard is done by the sarki with no name but his motif for this one is a dragon and Swayambunath temple rather than insects.
Since there is not a nickels' worth of difference in this new kami and the Kumar version price will be $95 delivered to your door.
I have emailed Gelbu and asked him to assign this kami a mark and put him on permanent status. This guy certainly knows how to make a khukuri!
