From time to time Bura will hold court at BirGorkha to demonstrate to the younger kamis how a certain khukuri should be made. This is one of those.
It is a 22 inch Kobra, 5/16 thick, 1 & 7/16 wide and weighs exactly 22 ounces with handle of rosewood and Hi habaki style bolster. This is a masterpiece made by the master and, of course marked by him. Everything about this khukuri is about as close to perfect as a kami can get so I'll say no more than this.
The karda and chaka are very fit compantions, reflecting the quality of the big blade.
The scabbard is made and tooled by the sarki with no name and is very well done. Tooling shows dragon, daphne and yin-yang. Frog is HI 100 year superfrog.
We will deliver this to your door for $125 and take it from old Uncle Bill, this is a true bargain!
Call or email if interested.
