Here is an excellent AK Bowie made and marked by Sanu. Beautifully fullered! It is 15 inches overall, a shade over 3/8 thick and about 2.5 wide. It weighs in at about 1.5 pounds. Sanu thought there might be some who would like a lighter version of the BirGorkha AK Bowie so here it is.

The fit is very good, finish is magic stone mirror and Sanu has this edge hardened up to about 58 Rc and as is it will take a few hairs off the back of my hand.

The scabbard is the Terry Sisco design made and tooled very nicely by the Sarki with no name. If you like you can remove the brass chape. Frog is HI 100 year superfrog.

We need a field report on this model so we will deliver it to your door for $125 and, of course, it goes with the HI guarantee.

Call or email if interested.

I saw this 45 minutes ago, no one's snagged it yet? Beautiful knife, looks like it'd make a great camp knife.

Hoo boy... if no one claims it soon, my proto Bird & Trout could use a baby brother

Nick, it looks good, is good, and feels good in the hand. I like what Sanu has done to the handle on this AK Bowie.

Sanu had been putting an edge on this model that was actually too hard (my old file told me it was 60+ Rc but how much more I can't tell) and one chipped. I got word back to him that he was overdoing the hardness on the Bowies and he has backed off a little.

This one is here to stay -- but not with me.

Somebody will be around. Monday's are always a little slow.
