Here is another exercise in excellence by Sanu, a 21 inch, 27 oz. Sirupati. This is another 10 out of 10 khukuri. Fit is perfect, you can judge the finish by the reflection of the tree leaves near the tip of the blade. Hardness is about 58 or 59 in chopping area and edge scraped a few of the remaining hairs off my left arm. Handle is saatisal and perfect. Again, I have nothing to complain about.

The karda and chakma are a bit short for Sanu, about six inches, but both very nicely done. Karda also has magic stone mirror finish and is slightly fullered.

Scabbard is by sarki with no name and tooling are tashi dili symbols and very nicely done. Frog is HI 100 year superfrog.

For fans of Sanu this one is for you. We will deliver this rig to your door for $95.

Call or email if interested.

Maybe those fumes didn't affect me too much after all. That is a really dark handle, I thought it was horn at first. It is a good looking knife-I'm just not a big fan of the Sirupaits.

I think I'm just going to sharpen a sledge hammer-speaking of which my buddy has one!

Argh, wait.. still has pending orders...

Uncle, how does the Tarwar situation look like? Any more in stock/forthcoming?

J

Alrighty...thanks for the info Uncle. The pending order list looks to remain 3 for a long time. But oh well, I suppose the kobras and sirupatis will have to keep me company

And there has been 3 really nice, beautiful khukuris for UBDOTD today!!!

Bro, I am really glad to see you with nothing to complain about!
That, at least, takes some of the stress off. Now if you just had the inventory, things would be just downright dayum peachy, ainni't?

And speaking of the Kami's Mark's Medallions, how do they fare?
Any estimate of an e.t.a.?

If I hadn't seen the silver mounted Kobra this afternoon I wouldn't be able to resist this! I have seen what I want now however and I will be patient until I can have it.

To whoever gets it, enjoy!
